My name is Jane, I am a recovering alcoholic. I met Linda at a time in my life when I was struggling with a second marriage and three children. I was tired, hurting and trapped. I felt alone and in constant physical and mental pain. My self-esteem was at rock bottom and I was having thoughts of ending my own life. Linda helped me to see the person other people were seeing in me, a person that I never knew existed. She introduced me to the hurt child inside and helped me learn how to heal her. She showed me how strong I had actually been through out my life and taught me how to tap into that strength. I don't know where I would be today if she and I had not met. I consider myself truly blessed to have had her to talk to. As my children grew they too had times in their lives when they needed a professional to talk to and Linda also counseled them when the time came. The thought that she is now available to my grandchildren should they need her via the internet is a pure joy to me. She is the only person I would trust them to. It has been about 20 years since we met and when things get tough she is still the one who's voice I hear inside. Her words healed me and I love her for it.

My name is Beau O. , I am now thirty-six years old and I have been severely depressed for most of my life, I even attempted suicide when I was about 8 years old, and have spent much of my life living in darkness and sorrow. From elementary school onwards I have been seeing various therapists of all skill levels, with very little success as they never seemed to care for me and my problems on a personal and spiritual level. I rarely got the sense that they cared enough to even think of my issues after the session was over, and most of the “counseling” was text book at best.

   During my tenth year of school I was enrolled in a Humanities class called Human Relations which Linda was assisting as a counselor, which was a blessing to me as she noticed my deep pain, and perhaps my strong spirit. We began having weekly sessions, and although I was young and rebellious, she was able to hear me truly, and was able to offer advice and counsel that helped me resolve some of my deep, and not so deep issues. Linda has a unique way of seeing into the heart, of both the person, and the issue, and seems to know the exact words to say, soothing my often angry and confused soul.

   There is no doubting her depth of care for me and my unique problems, and she was there for me even when I would call at 2am , angry or depressed, confused or scared. Anyone else would have told me to call at another time, but she calmly listened, and her insightful soothing words always helped me find my own solution. Sometimes she just shed light on the path I had lost. Sometimes she showed me the answers I knew, but would not see for myself. And sometimes it was just comforting to hear her voice.

  I have no doubt that Linda has saved my life many times, though she may not know it, and I thank the universe for a teacher called Linda!

During my teen years I suffered from bulimia and anorexia. At 5'2” I weighed 83 lbs and stopped menstruating. I experienced self esteem issues, constant battles with my parents and bouts of anxiety and depression. Without Linda's help I am not sure where I would be today.

I was blessed with a therapist who worked from a heart-centered approach. She was clear, persistent, honest and most of all compassionate. As I worked with her I began to see myself in a new light. My self esteem improved greatly and I reached a normal healthy weight, overcoming my eating disorders. She is blessed with a wisdom that allows you see beyond your present suffering, and at the risk of sounding cliché, see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Over the years I have continued to seek her guidance when I am struggling for clarity and each time she offers helpful insight that enables me to move forward. I credit Linda for helping me believe in myself enough to become the owner of a successful wellness center.
